Eiki Helgason, Iceland's native and the elder one of the legendary sibling duo, The Helgason brothers. Eiki is one of the most creative street riders in the world. You can convince yourself of it by watching any of his video parts, for example in the movie Scandalnavians 2 from the last year or in Halldor's latest movie KÓZY. In a short Q&A, we asked Eiki about his outerwear choice for the 22/23 season. Get inspired by Eiki's selection and his new Horsefeathers video spot.
Your outerwear choice of this year was Evans jacket in mimosa yellow and Charger pants in black. Why did you choose those exact models?
I have been using the Charger pants for years and I love the look and fit on them. Regarding the Evans jacket, I like how “street” it feels.
Which technical features can't be missing on your winter jacket?
It needs to be warm & comfy!
And what's the most important thing for you, when it comes to snowboard pants?
I'm a slim fit guy, so they can't be too "baggy" and should not block any movement.

Eiki Helgason is known for his street creativity. That's why he rides our rideable Sherman sweatshirts most of the time. But when he puts on a jacket, it's a shorter, street-looking Evans model with a 10,000 mm water column and PET insulation. Eiki appreciates the combination of street look with technical parameters, which he will use in his unique riding style. This year he chose the color combination of mimosa yellow and matched it with black classics, popular Charger black pants with 15,000 mm water resistance and Knox black/mirror red glasses.
From the scale 1-10 (10 ist the most) how important is design/style for you, regarding winter outerwear?
I think it's a solid 9.
Regarding snowboarding, do you have any big plans for the upcoming season?
The plan is to film as much as I can for a video part and other social media projects.
