Most people perceive Horsefeathers as a winter, snowboarding brand. But loyal fans remember that we played a crucial role in shaping the MTB/Freeride/Slopestyle community in the Czech Republic. Events such as Kozzy Style or Secret Session together with the names of riders such as Gaspi, Leader or Michal Matys belong to the key concepts of the Czech scene. We reminisced about all this last year in the blog Horsefeathers - back in the saddle. Since then, we've been pedaling hard and hitting the trail at full speed, with many great bikers joining us. We want to introduce you to what and who is a Horsefeathers bike in 2023 in the Horsefeathers HEI days behind-the-scene video from our spring bike shooting.
Positive energy, fun, and people having a good time together, that's the Horsefeathers bike team. A bunch of individuals tuned on the same wave. The four day ride at HEIBIKEPARK was a blast and even though the weather wasn't on our side, we created a load of material and most importantly a lot of unforgettable memories. And thanks to this crew, the spring bike shooting was one for the books! We are very proud to have Horsefeathers bike represented by (on the photo from the right): Vilibald Vítek, Richard "Gaspi" Gasperotti, Filip Vokurka, Jakub Hejl, Teodor Kováč, Tomáš Zejda aka Leader, Tomáš Pagáč and Pavla Balíková.

Richard "Gaspi" Gasperotti
Gaspi is a legendary Czech freerider. Among other things, he started 4 times at the toughest MTB freeride competition RedBull Rampage in Utah, USA, and 5 times took part in the Crankworx event in Whistler. He rode down more than one active volcano and traveled the world by bike as part of his Zam project. Twenty years ago, he was one of the first members of the Horsefeathers bike team, and we're even more pleased that he's still there. Teodor Kováč
Teo currently belongs to the top of the Czech MTB freestyle and freeride scene. In 2022, he took home a silver medal from the world's largest MTB gravity festival Crankworx in Innsbruck and, as he says, his goal is to constantly improve his riding. We like Teo's versatility, creativity and team spirit. You can find out more in his Welcome interview here.
Tomáš Zejda aka Leader
Leader is a professional biker, passionate traveler and occasional cook who prefers to go everywhere barefoot. During his legendary career so far, he has participated in countless major world competitions and shows, including the prestigious Red Bull Rampage. In the last two years, Leader has two first congresses to his credit. Last year he cycled the African mountain Kilimajaro and this year Mera Peak in Nepal. But mainly Tom is an extremely positive and inspiring person who cements the whole team and is able to kick it forward. More about Leader in the interview here.
Filip Vokurka
Filip is the youngest Horsefeathers bike young gun, but his repertoire of tricks is somewhere else! He has a double backflip and countless styles have been given to him. He participates in top races and filming and is definitely worth watching, because Filip has a bike career ahead of him and it's already a real ride. You can follow Filip on his Instagram .
Jakub Hejl
Jakub Hejl is a 24-year-old freestyle MTB biker from Velké Meziříčí. He belongs to the absolute top in his discipline. In May 2022, he took second place at the silver stop of the FMB tour in Zurich, Switzerland, third place this year at the silver stop of the FMB tour in Ostrava - Horsefeathers Iron Town, and he also has a world first in the form of a 360 double tail whip to barspin trick. Vilibald Vítek
Vilibald is a stylist, easy-going, but when he steps on the pedals, flames appear. He got onto MTB from BMX, on which he was the first Czech to do a double backflip. He was not lazy on the MTB and was the first Czech to send a triple backflip there. We enjoy Vilibald's style and flow incredibly, and we can play his rider edit over and over again. Pavla Balíková
Pavla Balíková is a Czech biker who is primarily dedicated to the discipline of enduro. In 2022, she took overall 1st place at the Blinduro races and 2nd place overall at the Czech Enduro Series. Pavla is definitely not afraid of speed and technique, and we are glad that she joined the Horsefeathers bike team. You can read more about Pavla and women's enduro biking in her Welcome interview.
Tomáš Pagáč
Although Tomáš has already hung up his racing career, he can still ride a trail or fly through a jump like few others. He is currently with his life partner Baša Števulová mainly a member of #teamtobidush and if anyone deserves the title of super-dad, it's him! After all, what is more than a proper Family ride?
