The most anticipated street snowboarding event of the year is here! This time will DIYX STRT JAM take place at the Magic Castle in Seefeld, Austria, and is therefore named DIYX CSTL JAM. If you were part of previous editions, you surely know what kind of madness a crew led by our rider Ethan Morgan in cooperation with Method Mag magazine can produce. However, the bar is raised every time, so expect the unexpected! It all kicks off on November 17-18, and we'll be there! And if you can't make it to CSTL JAM in person, don't worry, we'll bring you a report from each day, so you won't miss out on this wild happening!

If you're planning to come personally to DIYX CSTL JAM, definitely don't miss our Horsefeathers booth, where we'll be waiting for you with a beer and an offer to register for the Horsefeathers Beer Games, which will take place on the first day right after the event. You'll need two friends for the team and the desire to compete for great prizes in bizarre disciplines. On the second day, you can also come and try archery with us, also for material prizes and beer. See you!

REPORT FROM DIYX CSTL JAM #DAY 2

When it comes to the DIYX STRT JAM, no building around the event's location is safe. This was evident on the second day of CSTL JAM when the riding center shifted to a building just behind Seefeld Castle.

Riders had access to a street setup, including rails, stairs, and a crowd-pleasing wallride. That was Fabi's cup of coffee, so he kept spinning around tirelessly. And what's a snowboarding event without some banging action? This time, our red container took the hit, getting some serious shots from the riders. Creative sessions went on until the evening when it smoothly transitioned into the final afterparty.

Meanwhile, at our booth, things were lively with archery. Participants could shoot at a target featuring Halldor's, Fabi's, and Ethan's faces while they watched it with a beer in hand. If you hit the apple above their heads, you could win some clothing or a beer. Many arrows missed and ended up in the forest, so it wasn't clear if the arrows or the beer would run out first.

In the end, it all worked out great, so we could happily say that DIYX CSTL JAM was once again a legendary snowboarding event that will be remembered at least until the next one. A big shout out to our rider Ethan and the entire crew who took care of the event! Thanks a lot!

REPORT FROM DIYX CSTL JAM #DAY 1

The courtyard of the Magic Castle in Austrian Seefeld was yesterday buzzing with snowboard enthusiasts, who came to enjoy another kick-ass session from the DIYX STRT JAM series, hosted by our rider Ethan Morgan in collaboration with Method Mag magazine.

Ethan and the Helgason brothers kicked off the event in style, rockin' vintage cloaks and rollin' in on horses. After the initial welcome and shoutout from Ethan, the real deal went down. We don't know how about you, but we witnessed snowboarding on castle walls and roofs for the first time, and gotta admit, it was more than epic! The vibe was amped up by the constant snowfall, thirst quenched with brews from our stand, and the hype among the riders kept escalating. The full send of the day belonged to Ethan, who dropped the wall of Seefeld Castle from top to bottom without in-between-landing on the roof.

In addition to Ethan, Halldór, and Eiki, Fabi Fraidl also showcased his skills on the castle, not only on a snowboard but also on a snow skate. The top spot was eventually shared by Spencer Schubert and Egan Wint, who were killin' it the most for sure. After announcing the results, a rave kicked off with the beats of the metal band 'Terror'. Describing the mosh pit that went down there is probably unnecessary.

After that, everyone slowly made their way to our stand, where we kicked off the Horsefeathers Beer Games. And it was pure madness. Chugging beers and competing in "historical" disciplines such as hobby horsing, archery up to skate jousting. Everyone involved had a blast, and the party continued until the morning light, leaving only memories for the chosen few.
