WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE ULTRATECH® MATERIAL
A high-quality material designed for maximum performance in various conditions. The technical outer fabric is laminated with a water-repellent and breathable membrane. We use it, for example, in the Asher jacket and Rogue vest.
SOFT COMFORT FLEECE
This soft fleece material gives our hoodies a warm feel, comfort, and a very pleasant wearability. You’ll appreciate these qualities not only during sports but also for everyday use. Thanks to the use of synthetic fibers, the material hardly absorbs water and quickly transfers moisture to the next layer.
STRETCH MATERIAL
Thanks to a certain amount of elastane, the material is stretchy, making it very comfortable. The two-way stretch material provides flexibility sideways, which you'll especially appreciate when walking or riding a bike. It’s used, for example, in the Reverb and Croft pants.
DWR FINISH
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish is an essential part of our technical materials, such as the Asher jacket, Rogue vest, and Croft pants. This finish ensures that water doesn’t soak in but rather rolls off the surface of the material, keeping you dry.
How to take care of our multipurpose technical products?
Even though our products are designed to handle anything you throw at them, proper care is essential. Here are a few tips to extend their lifespan:
1. Gentle Washing
Remember that technical pieces require delicate care. Wash them at low temperatures (around 30°C) and skip the fabric softener, as it can damage the DWR finish and other protective layers.
2. Specialized cleaning products
Regular detergents can damage the water-repellent and breathable properties of technical pieces. We recommend using specialized cleaning products designed for technical clothing, which are gentler on functional materials. These products not only remove dirt but also restore the DWR layer and breathability, extending the lifespan of your garments.
3. Restoring the DWR layer
After a few washes, the water-repellent layer may weaken. Use a special DWR spray to restore it, so your products, like the Rogue vest or Dough shirt, remain as functional as when you first got them.
How to care for clothing with DWR treatment
Clothing with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment requires special care to maintain its properties. Wash it at a low temperature (30°C) using a gentle detergent without fabric softener and turn it inside out. It's best to air dry it, but if the label allows, you can also use a dryer on a low setting to reactivate the DWR layer. To restore water repellency, use waterproofing sprays or special laundry treatments. Store the clothing in a dry, cool place, ensuring it is completely dry before storing it. Hang or fold it loosely to avoid creases and damage to the DWR treatment.
4. Air drying
While a dryer saves time, it's better to let technical products dry naturally. Air drying helps preserve the materials and layers, keeping them intact.
5. Careful ironing
Although most of our technical products, like the Asher jacket or the Melia and Barry hoodies, don’t need ironing, if you do decide to use an iron, make sure it’s on a low heat setting without steam. It’s recommended to place a cloth between the fabric and the iron to avoid any damage.
6. Long-term storage
When the season ends and you’re no longer using your technical pieces, it’s important to store them properly. Make sure they are thoroughly dried to prevent mold or unpleasant odors. Store them in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
