Halldor and Eiki Helgason in Scandalnavians movie

Scandalnavians are here! The current snowboarding Vikings came together to show us how snowboarding is done up there in Scandinavia. From Stockholm to Oslo and Helsinki to Iceland's Reykjavik, some of the world's best and most iconic riders live. In the film you will see names like: Sven Thorgren, Nils Arvidsson, Johan Nordhag, Ludvig Billtoft, Antti Jussila, Alek Oestreng, Len Roald Jørgensen, Kris Lerånd, Fridtjof "Fridge" Tischendorf and our team riders Halldor Helgason and Eiki Helgason. Each of them will have their own part there and be sure that these riders ride insane stuff!

Kasper de Zoete in the new snowboard movie Merlot

The Notion snow production together with our Dutch team rider, Kasper de Zoete, has prepared a new snowboard movie for you this year, called MERLOT. This is their third film with a wine theme and rad snowboarding. In addition to Kasper, you can also spot Wouter Groot, Henrik Meyn, Jordi Spa and Mees Oostdijk in the film. And if you accidentally missed the previous two movies - PINOT GRIGIO and CHARDONNAY, go and watch all three of them in a row. Cheers!

"KÓZY" by Halldór Helgason

Halldór Helgason proudly introduces his latest video. KÓZY is a video project mainly filmed around Iceland during the Covid 2020/21 season. The perfect time to explore Iceland and see what it had to offer. "We ended up not having much snow at all and crazy windy pretty much all season but we did the best of what we had and here you have our KÓZY edit." describes Halldór.

Dan Hanka and Šimon Bartík in the series Czech Mate | Episodes 1, 2 & 3

Our freeski riders Daniel Hanka and Šimon Bartík a.k.a Danihell and Šimba started their winter season at a time when the rest of us were just trying to remember where we put our snowboard or ski boots last year. They spent a month in Tyrol, where they had a pre-season warm-up on the (already) crowded Stubai and Kaunertal glaciers. They went there with a commitment to shoot the first part of their new web series of videos called Czech Mate.

HORSEFEATHERS SPRING SHRED PENKEN PARK

Is there anything more fun than spring shreds? Slushy snow, sunny days, just a few people in the resorts, side-hits and soft landings. Add the cool Penken park in Mayrhofen, Austria, and the world's top snowboard names consisting of Halldór and Eiki Helgasons, Tyler Chorlton, Ethan Morgan, Steve Gruber, Baldur Vilhelmson, Fabian Fraidl and Zoltán Strcuľa. And that´s exactly what our last Horsefeathers team trip was about, from which this positive spring edit was made. This is how we imagine the end of the season! Enjoy!

Bike expedition Kilimanjaro

Last year, two Czech bikers decided to do something you just don't see usually. Climb Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and ride it down on bicycles. This crazy idea could not have originated in the mind of anyone other than our biker Tomáš "Leader" Zejda. He managed to got his friend Ondra into it, and when there were two of them, they only needed someone to document the whole thing. And Patrik Paulínyi was more than a suitable candidate for that. You can find out how it all turned out in a document that you will only find in this blog so far. Eiki Helgason, a native of Iceland and the elder one of the legendary sibling duo The Helgason brothers. Eiki is one of the most creative street riders in the world. You can convince yourself of it by watching any of his video parts, for example in the movie Scandalnavians 2 from the last year or in Halldor's latest movie KÓZY. Q&A with Halldór: I chose Spencer jacket this year

Halldór Helgason is known for his absolutely stylish, creative, fun and often crazy snowboarding. Together with his older brother Eiki, they made Iceland (not exactly snowboarding friendly island) very famous. Both of them are a proof that where there's a will, there's a way, and that even shaping home-made rails behind the house can lead you to a pro snowboarding career.
